My goal is to help you identify your personal strengths and empower yourself to make lasting changes in one or several different areas of health and wellness. In my role as a psychotherapist, I use an eclectic approach that includes both insight-oriented techniques and skills-based treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to foster a deeper understanding of longstanding patterns and provide you with the coping tools to start making meaningful changes. As an Integrated Health Coach, I am able to combine my background in behavioral change and Motivational Interviewing with an encouraging and warm approach to partner with you to build new and lasting habits. Whether the focus is on physical activity, diet, stress reduction, mind-body connection, spirituality, or personal/professional development, we can identify existing barriers to building new habits and develop effective ways of eliminating perceived obstacles. In my work, I take a comprehensive, holistic view of health and wellness and a compassionate, non-judgmental stance toward my clients.
